Job Responsibilities:


Renovo Media Group produces and finances premium film and television content that elevates, uplifts, and inspires. Our facility is a 225,000 square foot studio based in Clear Lake, Iowa. We are seeking an Executive Assistant for the President/COO. This position is REMOTE full-time based in Los Angeles with monthly travel to the facility in Clear Lake, IA and travel for productions with President on an as-need basis.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Strategically manage/schedule the President's calendar to prioritize meetings based on importance, urgency and bandwidth. Facilitate all zoom and in-person meeting details.
  • Manage phones, roll calls, keep accurate call sheet and proactively anticipate calls to be made.
  • Serve as liaison internally with all department heads and external partners on behalf of President.
  • Stay informed on all internal projects across all departments, track status, and action items needed.
  • Take detailed notes in all meetings involving President and send/manage follow up/action items.
  • Schedule and coordinate all travel arrangements for President and EVP of Scripted Department.
  • Collect, manage and track ongoing receipts and submit all expense reports to accounting.
  • Execute special projects/needs as needed (i.e. create pitch decks, create actor/talent lists, manage internal grids, assist in managing development slates, attend screenings and/or networking events).
  • Assist with development of new projects (research, ideation, proofing) and participate in creative development meetings, reading scripts, and forming all notes documents for Scripted department.
  • Facilitate recruiting and manage on-going internship program for Scripted & Unscripted Departments.
  • Execute occasional home/personal tasks for President on an as needed basis.


Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience at a talent agency, studio, streamer or network within the film/TV industry
  • HIGHLY organized, detail oriented, proactive and able to multitask under tight deadlines
  • Effective and efficient written and communication skills are a must as well as confidentiality
  • Ability to interact with A-list talent and executives in a courteous and professional manner
  • Resourceful problem solver with a desire to grow internally within company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (powerpoint, excel), MAC software (pages, numbers), Adobe Suite (photoshop, etc.) all video platforms (zoom, meets, teams, etc.), A.I. software (a plus!)

  • Motivated to build something from the ground up with an energetic, fun-spirited, hard-working team
  • From the Midwest and/or passionate about the Midwest
