Job Description
THE ROLE: Coordinator, Post Production Operations
A+E Post Production Operations is seeking a freelance coordinator to join our team. This position focuses on crew scheduling, production support, and generally acting as the first point of contact for post and production partners; capture requestors’ needs and translate them into actionable items utilizing internal and external post resources. A coordinator should feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment generating content for broadcast, digital, and other emerging platforms.
M-F, 930-530p EST 35hr/week
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Responsibilities:
  • Daily schedule administration for post production crew using Microsoft Teams’ Shifts, AirTable, and other systems; including securing backfill and project-based support when required
  • Provide administrative support for all freelance crew maintenance as needed; recruiting and scheduling interviews; and processing new hires, extensions, and terminations
  • Oversee preparation and delivery fulfillment in support internal and external editing
  • Administer voice over (VO) and audio mix session scheduling across internal and external resources as needed
  • Including VO auditions and vendor onboarding
  • Administer edit fulfillment on behalf of production partners
  • Liaise with fellow support teams on proper facility protocol such as AVID project naming, asset sourcing and delivery, and request vetting
  • Manage ingest and archival requests, including asset identification and trafficking
  • Orchestrate post resources, systems and personnel, to accommodate shifting priorities across partners

YOUR STORY:
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a high-volume production and/or post-production environment; preferably dealing with broadcast deliverables and clients, or equivalent
  • Must be self-driven, take initiative, and be extremely organized
  • Willingness to learn and step outside of comfort zone while working well under pressure.
  • Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
  • Basic knowledge of corporate applications for communication: Outlook, Teams, G-Suite, etc.
  • Working knowledge of post-production scheduling and/or administrative software such as Airtable, Xytech MediaPulse, or an equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service, critical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed, per production and team coverage needs
  • Technical proficiency with media file formats, file transfer platforms, and file management workflows

Compensation
Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00
