This role is within the Telecom Services organization. Our mission is to provide and support telephony, voice, wireless, video, cabling, and various infrastructure services to our Casts and Guests through efficient delivery and integration of common and secure platforms, products and devices that provide them with an experience that supports effective collaboration and communication.
We are seeking a Services Specialist responsible for providing financial, accounting and data research. Primary responsibilities include administrating payroll for all Union Cast and Organizational changes and reporting and other administrative functions established within Telecom.
The Telecom Services Specialist position reports to Manager, Datacom Services.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for payroll of all Union Cast; ensuring charges for Vacation, PTO, Sick and to Project are charged properly
Coordinates shift bids with leadership for union cast members
Coordinates Org Management changes within WorkDay for Union Cast
Must work collaboratively with clients and colleagues and exert influence to deliver results
Effectively able to communicate regularly to leadership
Proactively answers and makes recommendations regarding client questions on specific transactional data
Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
Suggests improvements to existing processes and solution to improve the efficiency of the team
Provides and builds reporting for overall support for Telecom Managers as needed and/or advised
Serves as the regulatory training POC maintaining and auditing records and ensuring compliance
Communicates learning needs and schedules Cast to complete training
Coordinates Onboarding for cast members as needed
Analyses OT Reporting and delivers reports to leadership to ensure OT Leveling is correct
Researches and identifies issues as they arise for the team
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of payroll experience for Cast covered by union agreements
Must be an excellent teammate who possesses solid interpersonal and organizational skills
Excellent communicator in both oral and written settings
Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexible
High energy level; strong work ethic
Determined, independent thinker
Previous experience in SAP, WorkDay, GEM, MS Office products Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to plan and prioritize work and handle multiple priorities
Ability to simplify complex issues and incorporate effective “storytelling” to engage and influence the audience
Ability to complete a variety of atypical assignments as needed
Ability to complete work with a limited degree of supervision
Required Education:
Associates Degree or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college; or equivalent work experience
