Paid Intern, Blumhouse – Marketing

Overview: Blumhouse is seeking interns to support our Marketing department for Spring 2024, from January 15th – April 19th. You will have the exciting opportunity to learn about the

Marketing and Communications aspects of Blumhouse TV and Film. We work hard to make our internship as relevant, timely and hands on as possible. Interns get the opportunity to be

involved in the brainstorm, conceptualization, and execution of various social media projects and screening events. This is an in-person internship; virtual or hybrid options are not available. 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or no longer than 1 year post
  •  undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program
  • Work 20 hours/week in person 
  • Strong interest or prior experience in marketing, public relations, publicity, or social
  •  media
  • Desire to strengthen knowledge and gain expertise in Marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Be able to handle fast-paced environments and various personalities.
  • Organized, technology savvy, and willing to take initiative
  • Must be good with time management and able to multitask
  • Possess a valid California (Class C) driver’s license and have a reliable source of transportation
  •  Must be based in Los Angeles

Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to Marketing team 
  • Perform basic administrative duties and day-to-day tasks
  •  Watch Blumhouse movies and TV shows
  • Perform research on various projects and topics for upcoming projects
  • Assist with organizing and staffing company events 
  • Commitment to building an inclusive work environment
  •  Attend company meetings, Speaker Series, and intern-specific meetings with executives,
  •  directors, and talent
