Job Description
The Creative Services Manager leads graphic design efforts for the Oklahoma City Baseball Club and is responsible for all things related to the external representation of the brand.
This role is the primary designer for all graphics, including social media, email campaigns, digital marketing, team websites, and more. The Creative Services Manager is a steward of the brand and is responsible for upholding brand standards at all times.
Additionally, the Creative Services Manager will report to and work closely with the VP, Marketing & Communications to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to expand our reach as a brand and ultimately increase revenue generated.
Job function includes but is not limited to:
- Design graphics for all marketing avenues and mediums, including social media, emails, digital marketing, team websites, and more.
- Assist in developing video board content for in-game entertainment, including creative for partnership activations, entertainment skits, and more.
- Create content for annual reports and stakeholder communication.
- Design mockups for partnership proposals.
- Develop collateral for other departments, including Ticketing, Partnerships, and Special Events.
- Design of digital PlayBall! gameday program.
- Exploratory meetings with internal clients including Ticketing, Partnerships, Special Events, Communications, and Game Presentation.
- Maintain a working list of current and pending jobs with the expectation of completing all submitted projects in a timely manner.
- Create and design high-quality graphics that are consistently focused on the Oklahoma City Baseball Club’s organizational expectations and Five Core Business Strategies.
- Brainstorm ideas and concepts for visual and written content with other members of the creative team and internal clients.
- Ability to multi-task by working on several projects at once, occasionally under tight deadlines.
- Provide assistance in hiring and management of seasonal marketing interns: graphic design, social media, and photography.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- 2+ years experience as part of a marketing team, preferably in the sports industry or with an agency.
- Demonstrated ability to create compelling graphics through an online portfolio.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis on Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a multimedia-driven creative environment.
- Highly creative, imaginative, and a self-starter.
- Inherent curiosity and desire to learn and grow.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
