NewsNation is currently seeking a driven, experienced and pro-active part-time Associate Director to join the team in our New York Bureau. As an Associate Director, you will keep time, traffic rundowns, cue video, and be the main point of contact for Master Control.

Responsibilities:
The Associate Director’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist the Director during live and pretaped productions with timing elements, graphics, and coordinating feeds
Traffic video and graphic elements in rundowns and cue video via Bit Central playout
Coordinate with Master Control by confirming break times, if breaks are killed for Breaking News
Work closely with Line Producers on show and segment timing

Qualifications:
Prior control room and studio experience at broadcast networks.
Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and being able to multitask in a fast-paced environment are a must.
Weekends, early mornings, evenings and holidays may be a part of the schedule with overtime as situations demand. This is a DGA position and union membership is required.

Salary range is based on experience: $65-$75/hr
