Position Overview

The Department of Media Arts at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of Film & TV for the Spring 2026 beginning 1/6/2026. This position is to teach FTV 395 The LA Media Experience course which is taught in Los Angeles as part of Rider’s Semester in Los Angeles Program. The ideal candidate will provide students with practical insights into the film and television industry, focusing on how to help students ‘get their foot in the door’ and build a career.

Salary is $4,133.31 for a 3 credit course.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Film & TV, Media Production or equivalent is required.
Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Work experience in the film & TV industries in Los Angeles.
Work with university students a plus.
