The School of Communications at Webster University invites applications for a visiting faculty position in film, television, and video production, anticipated to be a one-year appointment. We seek a filmmaker and storyteller with a broad base of experience in working with clients and their own creative projects, ready to mentor students, oversee senior film productions, and teach a full load of courses. Experience in producing, directing, cinematography/videography, and editing is preferred.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses as appropriate, advise students, provide faculty service, and engage in professional development, including scholarship and creative activity. For more information see http://www.webster.edu/communications/ .
The School of Communications at Webster University prepares students to excel as skilled professionals in the global field of communications. We provide theory and practice in media courses framed within a liberal arts-based curriculum, augmented by personalized mentorship, and professional development opportunities. With a dozen distinct undergraduate majors, a variety of certificates, and a master's degree in strategic communications, we cover the full range of media and modes of communication. We offer communications programs and course work on the Webster campuses in Geneva, Vienna, Leiden, Athens, and Tashkent, as well as in Saint Louis and online.

Minimum Qualifications
Both professional experience and teaching experience are required for this visiting appointment; a master's degree or MFA may be preferred. The successful candidate will have broad knowledge of the field, an area of specialization, mastery of the requirements within the specialization, and have expertise, experience, and background that complements that of existing faculty members.
