Better Collective is the team behind Playmaker - an industry leading sports publisher and podcast network featuring stars like Shaquille O’Neal, Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Angel Reese, and Marshawn Lynch - alongside other top brands such as Action Network, BolaVIP, HLTV, and Yardbarker.

This role is for you if you are a builder at heart. You spot commercial opportunities across brands and platforms and turn them into long-term partnerships. You love the chase, the pitch, and the craft of packaging social, video, and audio content that brands are excited to buy. If you want to influence commercial strategy and work across fast-growing media brands, this role is for you.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Here are some of the ways you’ll contribute to our mission:

Develop and close new business across PlaymakerHQ, Action Network, and The Nation Network, driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships.
Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close branded content and media deals across digital, social, and creator-led platforms.
Build strong relationships with brands and agencies while managing a structured territory and revenue pipeline.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across content, production, talent, and marketing to package compelling commercial programs.

The Ideal Profile: Is This You?

Here’s What Helps People Succeed In This Role

7+ years of experience in media sales, partnerships, digital advertising, sponsorships, or sports entertainment sales.
Strong pipeline management and CRM discipline. Comfortable selling across digital media, social content, and creator-driven campaigns.
Confident presenter, strong negotiator, relationship builder, and strategic thinker with proven deal-closing experience.
Nice-to-Haves: Existing brand and agency relationships across sports, entertainment, lifestyle, gaming, or CPG categories.

For candidates based in New York, the annual base salary for this role is $150,000-$200,000 plus a competitive commission structure tied to quarterly revenue performance.
