Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Abstraction Media is seeking a full-time, in-house Producer to support a growing slate of content, live events, and productions.
This is a hands-on, integrated role for someone who wants to be deeply embedded in a creative team, not just managing projects from a distance. You’ll work across comedy, digital content, live shows, and development, helping bring ideas to life from concept through execution.
We’re looking for someone with a strong production foundation who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and takes ownership across multiple moving parts. This is a role for someone who is proactive, decisive, and comfortable making calls that keep projects moving forward and actively drives progress, not just waiting for direction.
This position is ideal for someone coming from a staff or long-term role at a network, studio, agency, or production company, and is looking to grow within a tight-knit, evolving team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support and manage day-to-day production across multiple ongoing projects
- Assist in planning and executing live shows, events, and on-location productions
- Coordinate schedules, responsibilities, and deliverables across internal teams and external partners
- Work closely with creative, post-production, and talent teams to keep projects moving forward
- Manage logistics for shoots, including crew coordination, equipment, and run-of-show
- Source vendors, negotiate rates, and find smart, cost-effective solutions
- Maintain organization across assets, workflows, and project tracking systems
- Anticipate needs, solve problems quickly, and keep communication flowing across departments
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of experience in a production or coordinating role
- Strong communicator who works well with both creative and operational teams
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Ability to read the room and manage personalities across talent, crew, and stakeholders to keep projects moving smoothly
- Confident negotiator who knows how to stretch a budget and find smart, cost-effective solutions without compromising the end result
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Able to wear multiple hats and step in wherever needed
- Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented
- Interested in being part of a team and growing with a company over time
- Background in long-term production environment (network, studio, agency, or production company preferred)
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience with live events or touring productions
• Familiarity with post-production workflows and editing pipelines
• Strong understanding of digital/social content and platform trends
COMPENSATION
Starting salary from $75K+, depending on experience and overall fit, with opportunity for growth as the role and responsibilities expand.
WHY WORK HERE
- Opportunity to work across a wide range of projects, from digital content to live events
- Direct exposure to talent, creative development, and production strategy
- A chance to grow with a company that is actively expanding its slate and capabilities
- A collaborative, fast-moving environment where strong contributors take on more responsibility quickly
