Job Description
We are building a team of A&R scouts and managers to help us discover and sign new producers and writers for our music publishing company. This is an Internship or commission-only role.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate emerging music producers and writers across all genres.
- Attend sessions, events, and meetings in our Clifton office 2–3 days per week for reviews and strategy.
- Submit qualified talent using our internal criteria and tools.
- Communicate with artists and our internal team as opportunities move forward.
Compensation details:
- For college students, we offer intership credits.
- For all others, commission paid per artist/producer/catalog you sourced that signs or closes a deal with us (e.g., flat per-deal fee or percentage of our commission; we will explain the structure clearly during interviews).
Location:
- Clifton, NJ, with 2–3 days in our office each week is required.
- Local candidates only.
- This is not a remote position.
Qualifications:
- Strong ear for talent and understanding of current music trends.
- Comfortable traveling to our Clifton office multiple days per week.
- Prior A&R, artist management, or curatorial experience is a plus but not required.
