With a team of approximately 50 professionals, we provide comprehensive client accounting, bookkeeping, and financial management services in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
We are seeking an Assistant Business Manager / Bookkeeper who is organized, dependable, and interested in building a long-term career in entertainment business management.
About the Role
The Assistant Business Manager supports Business Managers with day-to-day client accounting, bookkeeping, and financial operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and comfort working in a paperless, technology-driven accounting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Journal entries and general ledger accounting
- Payroll processing (Paychex experience preferred)
- Maintaining multiple sets of general ledgers for individual and entity clients
- Accounting and administrative support related to client financial reporting
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks and Excel strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Accounting or Business Management a plus)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
