As Associate Director, Content Creation, you will lead the development of platform-native social content that connects brands with audiences in authentic and culturally relevant ways. Working closely with creative, strategy, design, and account teams, you will concept, capture, edit, and publish content while identifying emerging opportunities across social platforms. The ideal candidate is an innovative storyteller, creative strategist, and collaborative leader who is energized by internet culture, passionate about content creation, and excited to push creative boundaries.
The Role:
- Concept, capture, edit, and publish engaging social-first content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging digital platforms
- Transform cultural trends, platform updates, and audience insights into innovative creative campaigns that drive engagement
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, design, and account teams to develop integrated content that supports client objectives
- Attend live events and activations to create real-time content while managing multiple fast-paced projects from concept through delivery
- Mentor creative contributors, provide feedback on content, and help evolve the agency's content creation capabilities through innovation and AI-powered workflows
The Ideal Candidate:
- 5–7 years of experience creating social-first content within a creative, social media, or integrated communications agency
- Proven ability to concept, write, produce, shoot, and edit high-performing short-form social content
- Deep understanding of major social platforms, audience behavior, cultural trends, and content performance best practices
- Strong collaboration, communication, and project management skills with experience working across multidisciplinary creative teams
- Passion for emerging technologies, including AI-powered creative tools, and a desire to continually push creative boundaries
Title: Associate Director, Content Creation
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Salary: $140,000-$160,000
