Role & Responsibilities: 

The Associate Talent Manager role is a “stepping stone” role intended to teach incoming Talent Managers the nuts and bolts of the position and the relationship between talent and the firm. The position is meant for an individual who is passionate about building their career while helping provide direction to talent who are also building their careers. The tasks associated with this role develop an understanding of communication flow, negotiation tactics, recruitment, relationship management and retention, and end-to-end campaign management.

  • Ability to work independently, track record of exceeding expectations with little supervision
  • 1-2 years in this position 
  • College degree preferred 
  • Professional references required

Weekly Tasks:

1. Support and conduct the campaign coordination process using the G&B CC process (from the contract to the wrap of the campaign) for the managers you are assigned to

2. Complete all calendar related tasks for the managers you are assigned to

3. Collect and send influencer content and analytics for the managers you are assigned to

4. Organize inbox to maximize understanding of daily workflow and monitor inbound deals from Influencer talent once you begin to build your team

A. Organized by Influencer 

B. Vet incoming projects (gifting, paid, event, non-opportunity) 

5. Qualify programs with each Influencer (interested / not interested). If interested:

A. Schedule / RSVP events for the Influencers 

B. Arrange gifts for Influencers when needed 

C. Respond to paid project opportunities, letting the client know the Influencer is interested and requesting details/budget 

6. Weekly shadowing of Sr. Talent Managers 

7. Attend weekly Sales Team meetings and scheduled trainings 

8. Introduction of the Business Development (BD) process

A. Concept of BD Blocks (shadow talent manager)

B. Gather wishlists from talent

C. Send outbound emails for the entire roster 

D. Shadow Weekly/Monthly business dev meetings with Influencers/Managers

Recruitment:

  •  Work with The Director of Talent and The Associate Director of Talent to assist in recruitment for your own team and the greater roster including types of talent to source, where to find talent from sourcing and creating talent ideas / potential recruitment lists from Instagram, TikTok and YouTube (primary) 
  • Outreach to potential talent to vet for interest / availability once approved by Amanda/Vanan 
  • Loop Amanda/Vanan into the conversation to negotiate / give final clearance on talent

Compensation:

  •  Base salary
  • Eligible for Recruitment/Referral Bonuses
  •  Health insurance eligible after 90 days
  • Eligible for commission after one year in the role
