Summary
We are seeking a Casting Director to lead casting efforts across AAA video games and linear content, including radio dramas and animated series. This role will work in close partnership with creative leadership, narrative, performance, audio, animation, legal, and production teams to secure exceptional talent and ensure performance consistency across interactive and linear formats.

- Lead casting across AAA video games and linear content, including radio dramas and animated series
- Translate creative vision into cohesive casting strategies across interactive and linear projects, anticipating long-term IP needs
- Partner closely with writers, directors, showrunners, narrative designers, and creative leadership to shape characters through casting
- Design and run end-to-end audition processes, including sides creation, callbacks, chemistry reads, and test sessions
- Direct and evaluate performances with a strong ear for vocal distinction, emotional range, stamina, and long-form consistency
- Collaborate with performance capture, audio, animation, and production teams to align casting decisions with pipeline realities
- Attend table reads, rehearsals, recording sessions, and performance capture shoots as required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with actors, agents, managers, and casting partners
- Serve as a primary point of contact for talent, managing availability, holds, compensation negotiations and re-booking across projects
- Partner with production, legal, and business affairs on contracts, union compliance, and casting budgets
- 5+ years of professional casting experience across video games, animation, scripted audio, or television
- Strong understanding of performance for voice, animation, and performance capture
- Proven ability to evaluate nuanced performances and align casting decisions with long-term creative goals
- Experience working with both union and non-union talent
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, startup studio environment
- Experience casting for AAA video game titles and/or premium animated series
- Familiarity with SAG rules and rates
- Familiarity with motion capture and facial capture workflows
- Experience building casting processes and standards within a growing studio
- Existing relationships within the voice, animation, and performance acting communities
