Content & Creative Lead Job Description
Company Description:
Farm to People is an online farmers market grocery delivery service specializing in
sustainably-sourced, local, fresh produce and artisanally produced foods. Our customers
can subscribe to a series of curated Farm Boxes or choose to shop à la carte. We deliver 7
days per week and are expanding in the NYC market. Our mission is to provide an ethical
marketplace where people can know where their food is coming from. We are a tight-knit
and inclusive team full of passionate foodies.
About the Role:
We're looking for a Content & Creative Lead to own the visual and creative output of the
brand. We're a small but growing marketing team where everyone wears many hats. You'll
work across a range of projects and touchpoints, and no two weeks will look exactly the
same. As the team scales, there's real opportunity to deepen your focus and grow within
your area of expertise.
This is a hands-on role for an ultra-creative problem solver with a sharp eye for detail and
the ability to execute across both digital and print. You bring strong craft, a consistent
aesthetic, and the resourcefulness to figure things out as we grow.
This role reports to the Chief Brand Officer and works closely with the broader marketing
team.
Key Responsibilities:
Content & Social Creation
● Produce platform-native video content for Instagram, TikTok, and paid channels:
reels, stories, ads, and beyond
● Stay current on platform formats and trends, bringing fresh creative ideas
consistently
● Build and maintain a content library the whole team can pull from
● Assist in writing creative briefs for campaigns, partnerships, and special projects
● Work cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, and ops to ensure creative is
aligned with broader goals and timelines

Video & Photo Production
● Lead all video and photo production end-to-end: you're behind the camera, directing
the shot, and delivering the final edit
● Shoot across a range of contexts: farm visits, product flats, recipe content, pop-ups,
events, and lifestyle
Design & Brand Creative
● Own all design projects across digital and print: social assets, email templates,
packaging, pitch decks, event materials, website graphics, and more
● Create on-brand, beautifully curated design elements that drive audience
engagement and reinforce brand awareness
● Take ownership of special projects including infographics, UX designs, and other
assets for the website
● Research and source materials for packaging, printing, and physical brand
touchpoints, supporting vendor evaluation, samples, and prototypes as we iterate
● Maintain visual consistency across every touchpoint
Systems & Asset Management
● Build and maintain organized systems for all creative assets, templates, and brand
materials
● Create clear file structures, naming conventions, and handoff processes that scale
as the team grows
Tools & Innovation
● Actively research new tools, technologies, and AI-powered workflows that can
increase creative output and efficiency
● Bring recommendations to the team and implement where it makes sense
What We're Looking For:
● 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in content creation, creative production, or a
similar role
● Strong video production skills: shooting, directing, and editing across formats and
platforms
● Experience creating content for both social and paid channels
● Strong, demonstrable photography skills: lighting, composition, editing
● An eye for food styling and lifestyle shoot compositions
● Strong graphic design skills with experience designing across digital and print:
social assets, email, packaging, and marketing materials
● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and video editing tools
● Detail-oriented with an ultra-creative approach to problem solving

● Highly organized with a systems-thinking mindset
● Curious about new tools and proactive about bringing them into your workflow
● Genuine interest in food, farming, and the people behind what we eat
● Excellent time management, planning and organizing skills and has the ability to
multitask
Preferred Experience and Character:
● Passion for local farming and NYC food scene
● Strong innovative entrepreneurial talents
● Ability to work well independently, but also be part of a team
● You must have a high tolerance for a loud and lively work environment and a passion
for innovation. We are a startup, and we love what we do!
Compensation & Benefits:
● Salary range: $70,000 to $80,000 (based on experience)
● Health benefits + paid time off
● Employee discount on Farm to People groceries and meals
● Opportunities to attend industry events, food festivals, and community gatherings
