The Role
The Coordinator, Human Resources serves as the administrative and operational support for the Human Resources team, supporting employees throughout their employee lifecycle. This role provides front-line HR support, coordinates onboarding and offboarding activities, maintains employee records, and partners with all departments to ensure a positive employee experience.
The Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the EVP, Human Resources, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, preparing expense reports, assisting with company meetings and events, and other administrative needs as required.
- Provide employee support and guidance on HR policies, payroll, benefits, timekeeping, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, including documentation, first day coordination and facilitation, and cross-functional logistics with IT and Facilities.
- Manage employee data changes, employee files, employment verifications, and HR system updates.
- Administer employee offboarding, exit interviews, and coordination with Payroll, Benefits, IT, and Facilities.
- Support benefits administration, enrollment, employee inquiries, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee files, conduct internal and data audits, and assist with various HR reporting and organizational charts.
- Process and escalate employee issues for corporate and production employees relating to payroll, performance, employee relations, timekeeping, benefits, and HR operations.
- Coordinate RITW training with outside counsel and the HR team for all productions within FMNA, OP and Eureka.
- Support recruitment activities, such as initial phone screens, interview scheduling, candidate communication, job postings, ATS maintenance, and offer coordination.
- Assist with compliance initiatives (EEO1, Pay Data), I-9 verification, unemployment claims and labor law postings.
- Brainstorm and coordinate employee engagement activities, internal communications, meetings, and special HR projects.
- Partner with HR leadership to improve HR processes, data accuracy, and overall employee experience.
- Perform additional administrative and HR-related duties as assigned.
The Essentials
- 2–4 years of Human Resources, HR Operations, Recruiting Coordination, or related administrative experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment when escalating employee issues.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is a plus
- Strong organizational and listening skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
The pay rate for this position is between $33.65-$38.46/hour ($70,000-$80,000/annually), exclusive of any overtime, bonuses or other incentive compensation (if any).
