Job Description
The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the brand and product marketing strategies that deliver overall financial performance for a portfolio of Jazwares owned and licensed brands. Reporting into the Senior Director of Marketing, this experienced leader will manage a team of Marketing Managers and will cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with the brand, PR and sales teams and agency partners. What You Will Do:
Integrated Marketing Planning and Execution
- Orchestrates the marketing positioning for brand activities
- Leads the global creative strategy and content development as it relates to overall marketing plan
- Leads the development and execution of global social media strategy for the brand and oversees the content development strategy across all owned social media channels
- Effectively monitors and reports on social media trends, including developments in design, applications, strategy and innovation
- Oversees the creative / content marketing strategy, development and execution as it relates to overall brand positioning and goals.
- Responsible for the development of effective and efficient media plans
- Ensures that all consumer communication is on-strategy and consistent, including commercials, digital content and social media marketing
- Exudes strong presentation skills and proactive communication among internal and external (Licensor) executives and team members
Operational Management
- Leads collaboration with design and digital media agency partners to develop campaign assets
- Serves as a marketing liaison between a variety of cross-functional teams including brand, sales, design, and PR.
- Oversees project timelines, deliverables and approval process internally and externally (with each Licensor).
- Oversees the planning & development of media and creative strategy and campaign briefs
- Partners with internal teams and external agencies to deliver world-class marketing campaigns that exceed business objectives
Analysis & Insights
- Utilizes POS Data, Shopper and other research to develop and optimize media and marketing plans
- Measure, analyze and communicate campaign success metrics & report results to leadership & key stakeholders
What We Look For:
Knowldge/Skills/Abilities
- Prior Toy/Entertainment/CPG and/or agency experience is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid proficiency in MS Office, Excel, G Suite. Advanced PowerPoint or Keynote presentation a must.
- Experience delivering best-in-class creative in support of impactful brand moments and marketing campaigns
- A creative thinker! Must be able to problem solve and create a plan to reach the goal.
- Ability to think outside of the box and develop innovative tactics to engage fans.
- Highly organized with extreme attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure and time-sensitive environment. Easily adapts to shifts in priorities!
- Fluid in social media scheduling & analytics, influencer landscape, media planning, buying & reporting.
- Ability to work effectively across different teams, departments, and external partners.
Education:
- Bachelors In Marketing or Related Field
Experience:
- 10 years experience in marketing, media and/or digital marketing industries with consumer or retail experience. Prior Toy/Entertainment/CPG and/or agency experience is required.
What We Offer:
At Jazwares, we believe in providing our employees with comprehensive and competitive benefits that support their well-being and overall satisfaction. The salary range for this position is $122,935 - $150,000 /Yr. Actual base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for annual performance incentives may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, salary range may not apply to other states.

The flexible work environment includes a hybrid schedule with 4 days, Fridays WFH, up to 20 workdays fully remote each year, Summer Fridays, Time Off for vacation, sick leave, and volunteer work.
