Job Description
DeepDate is a therapist-informed dating platform for singles and couples who want something more intentional than another swipe. We're currently in beta ahead of our public launch, and hiring 2 Social Media Interns and 2 Events Interns for our fall team.
SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN
Help run the everyday @deepdateapp presence, not just growth campaigns. You'll create content that drives people to our therapist-informed quiz, build out couples-focused content on why DeepDate works for two people instead of one, help grow our TikTok, and capture behind-the-scenes footage on-site at events. You'll work directly with our events-side social lead and report to our Founder & CEO.
What we're looking for: interest in social media, marketing, or communications (no professional experience required, this is a learning role), comfort with Instagram as a platform, willingness to pick up Canva or CapCut if you don't already know them, and strong writing instincts.

EVENTS INTERN
Support our Head of Events across the full event lifecycle: planning, vendor and venue coordination, logistics, budget tracking, day-of execution, and post-event wrap-up. You'll help source vendors, provide on-site support (setup, breakdown, guest check-in, troubleshooting), and support post-event recaps.
What we're looking for: interest in event planning, hospitality, or experiential marketing (no professional experience required, this is a learning role), someone organized who's comfortable juggling multiple moving pieces, basic spreadsheet comfort for budget/vendor tracking, and strong communication skills. Some evening and weekend availability needed around event dates.
BOTH ROLES
Term: Fall 2026 (Sept-Dec), 10-15 hrs/week, hybrid in Long Beach. Unpaid, with gas and food expenses covered, plus 15% commission on ticket revenue from registrations you personally drive (via your own tracked referral link/code), paid quarterly, and potential for an end-of-quarter bonus. Minimum age 21+.
