Role Description The Anime / Manga Intern will support the Gift team by researching, curating, and organizing anime and manga content that resonates with fan communities on the platform. Day-to-day tasks include discovering new series and trends and suggesting ways to celebrate creators, characters. This is a remote contract role, offering flexible hours and the chance to work closely with a small, mission-driven team focused on authentic online communities.
Qualifications
- Strong passion for anime and manga, with broad familiarity across genres, series, and fandom culture.
- Ability to reach out and connect with fans and creators interested in Anime / Manga.
- Ability to research and curate content, track emerging trends, and identify series and creators that align with community interests.
- Clear written communication skills for concise descriptions, recommendations, and community-facing content.
- Comfort working in digital environments, including social platforms, online communities, and basic content management tools.
- Organizational skills for categorizing content, maintaining lists or databases, and managing multiple small tasks at once.
- Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
