Job Description
We are looking for a Head of Music Royalties & Artist Acquisition to manage and develop a project in the music industry.
The main focus of the role is to find and attract artists and bands, build and develop relationships with them, and manage ongoing cooperation.
Responsibilities:
- Find and contact artists, bands, managers and independent labels;
- Build and maintain relationships with artists and music industry partners;
- Present cooperation opportunities and discuss potential partnerships;
- Collect necessary information and materials from artists;
- Coordinate and manage cooperation with artists;
- Continuously expand the network of artists and industry partners;
- Manage the day-to-day development of the project.
Who we are looking for:
- Experience or good knowledge of the music industry;
- Understanding of artists, streaming platforms and music royalties;
- Ability to independently find and approach artists;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills;
- Strong English language skills;
- Proactive, independent and results-oriented;
- Experience in A&R, artist management, record labels, music distribution, publishing or music rights is an advantage.
- Russian and English- fluent proficiency.
Work format: Remote or office-based.
Compensation: Fixed salary + performance-based compensation, depending on experience.
