Position Overview


The Creative Department at HYBE America is responsible for bringing our artists’ creative visions to life across live performances, tours, and global promotional moments. Within this group, the Live Production team plays a critical role in translating bold creative concepts into technically sound, world-class live experiences that connect artists with fans around the world.


We’re seeking a Production Manager / Project Manger, Live Production who will partner closely with internal creative stakeholders to execute high-impact live productions that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation. This role sits at the intersection of creative vision and operational execution, requiring both strong production leadership and hands-on expertise in live environments.


You will oversee the entire lifecycle of live production, from initial conception to final execution. As a key player on the team, you will direct and supervise the fabrication process, manage on-site operations, and ensure the successful delivery of live performances internationally.


This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Santa Monica office, with in-person collaboration 3 days per week and remote work 2 days per week. This role will also require frequent domestic and international travel.


Key Responsibilities


Production Planning

  • Vendor Management: Select and manage external partners and vendors.
  • Budget Management: Plan and control project budgets to ensure cost-effective production.


On-site Operations & Touring

  • Site Supervision: Supervise on-site setup, installation, and load out processes to ensure safety and quality standards.
  • Schedule Management: Manage detailed timelines for pre/post production, setup, and rehearsals.
  • Global Tour/Promotion Management: Oversee production logistics and operations for overseas tour/promotions.
  • Field Operations: Handle on-site administrative tasks and operational issues during events.


Communication & Collaboration

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal departments (A&R, Visual Creative, Performance, Brand Experience, Management) to align creative production goals.


Qualifications


  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in live production or tour management.
  • Domain Knowledge: Solid theoretical and practical understanding of stage fabrication and production mechanics.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to proactively identify areas for improvement and propose creative, rational solutions.
  • Communication: Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse departments and external partners.
  • Adaptability: Capability to quickly grasp changing site conditions and respond rapidly to unexpected situations.
  • Accountability & Grit: Strong sense of responsibility and perseverance in production tasks.
  • Open-Mindedness: Openness to new challenges, diverse perspectives, and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Ability to cooperate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proactive Issue Management: Ability to anticipate issues and respond preemptively.

Salary Range


The salary range for this job is $100,000 to $140,000. This is a good faith effort at the time of posting. This range is base salary only and does not include benefits and any other compensatory components of the role.
