The Role
As a Lead Technologist at Untold Studios you find new and better ways for Technology to enable our business. You will develop the studio’s cloud based infrastructure including workstations, render farm, network and storage configuration whilst looking to improve efficiencies. You will work with the Head of Technology to define our strategic direction and deliver innovative technology solutions to support this. You will lead projects from conception to final delivery.
You have in depth technical knowledge and are driven to work in a forward thinking and innovative Technology department. You are a highly motivated problem solving individual. You thrive when leading a close knit team to find solutions to complex Technology challenges. You have great ideas and you have the skills to bring the best ideas from the wider team Your experience ensures that these ideas are implemented in the most comprehensive, innovative way.

Why you?
You have a passion for innovative technology and how it enables a business.
You have significant experience working in a core technology team.
You have in-depth knowledge of editorial, post production & VFX related workflows.
You have knowledge of a range of industry standard software, including Houdini, Maya, Nuke, Flame, Premiere or Avid.
You have knowledge of Render Farms and Render Management Software, in particular Deadline.
You have worked with shared storage solutions and are confident working with critical and sensitive company data.
You have knowledge of a range of Operating Systems, including Linux, OSX and Windows.
Knowledge of Cloud technology and deployment/orchestration technologies would be advantageous.
You are proficient in python and bash scripting.

Salary Range: $130,000-$160,000 USD
