What you will do:

The Manager of Marketing Campaign and Content will help shape the brand’s outward image by being the driving force to bring Tillamook’s marketing campaigns and content to life. To do that, you’ll need to able to work well with agencies and internal partners to turn briefs into great ideas, stories, messages and advertising that separates the Tillamook brand apart from its competition. This means ensuring all content is aligned with original strategy/briefing and channel needs.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy and Integration, and will play the lead role working with the creative agency on campaign creative development, including film production. This includes creative refinements, creative director selection, storyboards, pre-production. This person will partner heavily with Brand Design on creative reviews and delivering feedback, and with Tillamook Senior Producer in film production and will be present on set for campaign film shoots. Then will lead post-production timeline and deliverables, such as film edit reviews, QC film content, and shipping final films to channel owners.

This role will also work internally with various Marketing partners to lead the deliverables lists and guide cross-channel asset development, including campaign stills, socially-native campaign assets, and more. This includes ensuring creative consistency principles are applied across channels.

There will also be some ad hoc Marketing content needs that live outside our campaigns (e.g. international content, stewardship content). Once an ad hoc project is approved by Marketing Leadership, this person will also be responsible for ensuring this content is also delivered.

Also critical to this role is driving internal socialization and enrollment of marketing content, so this person will own upward communication and feedback process with Marketing Leadership, as well as cross-functional share-outs with internal partners.

Here’s a day in the life:

  • Translate strategic briefs into campaign content.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with internal Marketing department, cross-functional partners such as Category Growth and Sales, and external agencies in the planning and production of content needs for all marketing campaigns and plans. Deliverables are all campaign assets. This includes customer-facing one pagers for Omni-Shopper. And while this primarily includes planned campaigns, it will also include ad hoc marketing content that comes up through the year.
  • Develop comprehensive list of marketing deliverables needed, in partnership with the internal channel team, and own the submission requests to the appropriate internal or external agency.
  • Bring forward appropriate content to weekly creative reviews for leadership feedback and approval.
  • Ensure all campaign and ad hoc marketing content is routed through the appropriate legal and regulatory partners, including scripts and final content.
  • Responsible for production schedule and timelines, involving keeping agencies and internal design partners on time.
  • In partnership with Tillamook Senior Producer, manage production budget and escalate issues when they arise.
  • Partner with Senior Mgr, Mktg Strategy and Integration, to measure effectiveness of campaign content, working with the internal team. Communicate these results in presentations, including implications and recommendations for marketing plan adjustments.
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities.
  • Lead development of internal campaign overview documents and shareouts, collaborating with all cross functional partners to pull together clear, concise and actionable overview of our campaigns.
  • Present, when appropriate, to stakeholders.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and managing campaign content on behalf of a brand.
  • Proven experience in managing external agency partners and marketing budgets.
  • Ability to identify and track relevant KPIs.
  • Ability to operate independently with limited direction.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to create strong and compelling Power Point presentations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
