THE ROLE

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for positioning Superfan as the premium experience partner within the global live entertainment industry by developing the marketing strategy and campaign execution for Superfan’s VIP and Travel programs across global tours and events. This role is responsible for driving audience growth, increasing program visibility, and maximizing sales through data-driven campaigns, digital marketing, and brand storytelling.

Working closely with tour teams, artist management, and internal stakeholders, the Marketing Manager will oversee campaign planning, content strategy, paid media, and performance analytics across Superfan’s marketing channels. The role requires strong creative and design capability, with the ability to produce visually compelling marketing assets including digital campaign graphics, website content, email marketing creative, and social media materials that reflect Superfan’s brand.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Program Campaign Development 

  • Act as the primary marketing contact for promoters, agents, managers, artists, and senior internal leaders
  • Create the packaging and organization of marketing assets to support VIP & Travel events, including artist meet-and-greets, exclusive backstage access, and premium lodging packages
  • Confirm and manage marketing logistics for VIP & Travel package onsales, including timing, dates, and promotional materials
  • Prepare artist specific marketing plans for each program, helping increase visibility and engagement among artist fan bases and purchase sites for both VIP and Travel programs
  • Ensure Superfan website is up to date with the most accurate program information and ready for program announcements and onsales 
  • Create branded digital assets for artist experiences and event promotions.
  • Create (design and copywriting) and schedule social media posts to promote VIP, travel events and artist experiences
  • Recommend and manage budget for ad spend to help increase sales across artist specific VIP and Travel programs
  • Ensure Partners receive timely, accurate marketing plans, updates, and spend reporting

Ongoing Program Marketing Support

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders including artist marketing teams, venues and promoters to ensure that there is a unified marketing strategy
  • Analyze web data (Google Analytics, etc) to ensure maximum performance of Superfan’s digital presence
  • Monitor social media performance and report on fan interactions, engagement rates, and content reach
  • Proactively find ways of increasing fan interactions, engagement rates, and content reach
  • Support clients with their fan engagement strategies across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Respond to comments, direct message and other fan communications via Superfan outlets to re-enforce Superfan’s online presence
  • Identify marketing/press/media opportunities for tours/programs
  • Create a database of photographers/videographers in local markets for content capture at programs 
  • Develop and maintain a library of artist and event-specific assets for use across social media, email, and web channels
  • Create and manage standard content capture procedures for tour reps and on site personnel at Superfan programs
  • Implement and maintain marketing workflows, systems, calendars, and reporting
  • Ensure clear campaign documentation, promoter updates, and internal communication

Audience Management & Database Marketing

  • Capture, scrub, and analyze VIP and Travel audience data to build segmented, targeted lists for email and social media campaigns
  • Create and execute targeted email campaigns focused on VIP and Travel experiences inclusive of all copywriting and graphic design
  • Track campaign performance and create action based on audience response to increase engagement
  • Prepare and send monthly email campaigns highlighting Superfan programs and company highlights to grow our core audience

Brand Management

  • Work alongside the CEO and Creative Director to ensure that Superfan’s brand remains relevant within the industry
  • Keep the Superfan Capabilities Deck up to date to ensure we are presenting a unified brand across all business development opportunities
  • Assist in the creation of specialty pitch decks for select clients
  • Manage content of the client facing side of the website and update regularly with wins and new storytelling pieces
  • Update team bios, Superfan bio, as company evolves to ensure brand consistency
  • Discover and present potential press & media opportunities for Superfan and key members of the Superfan team

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have a minimum 4 years industry experience
  • You may have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • You are experienced with VIP events, high touch experiences, the music industry, and fan experiences
  • You have experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and data analysisYou have a keen design eye with experience creating compelling marketing 
  • You have knowledge and understanding of graphic design principles, inclusive of typography, composition, color, contrast, hierarchy, emphasis balance, and unity.
  • You are proficient with the Adobe suite, online design tools like Canva, and email marketing platforms like MailChimp and Klaviyo
  • You worked with ticketing platforms like Ticketmaster, AXS, Tixr and understand their marketing strategies
  • You are confident with copywriting (email campaigns, social media posts, client reporting) and have strong written communication skills
  • You possess a very high level of attention to detail
  • You are able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment.
  • You have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret marketing performance data.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
