The Country Music Association is seeking a Seasonal Media Credentialing Assistant to support the Communications team during the busy months leading up to CMA Fest. This role plays an important part in coordinating media access and supporting the logistics that allow press and content creators to cover one of Country Music’s biggest annual events.
The position will assist with the management and organization of media credential requests, including tracking applications, coordinating communications with approved media, and supporting the preparation of materials used during the credentialing process. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of information and correspondence in a fast-paced environment.
In the weeks leading up to CMA Fest, this individual will help ensure credential records, communications, and media resources are organized and accurate. During the festival, the role will support on-site media operations, including credential distribution and assisting with media zones.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in gaining hands-on experience in media relations, event communications, and the entertainment industry while contributing to the execution of a major live event.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing media credential requests and correspondence leading up to CMA Fest
- Support the review, organization, and tracking of credential applications through CMA’s credentialing systems
- Coordinate communications with approved media regarding credential confirmations, requirements, and event logistics
- Assist with compiling and distributing media resources, including press materials, schedules, and event information
- Support the preparation and organization of media credential packets and onsite materials
- Assist with on-site credential distribution and media check-in during CMA Fest
- Help maintain accurate credential records and media contact information
- Provide coordination support for media operations and communications projects as needed
- Assist with the facilitation and operations of media zones during CMA Fest
- Support general in-office coordination during designated office days
- Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time during CMA Fest
Timeline: April 14 – June 18
Rate:
- $15/hour (overtime available)
Hours:
- 3 days in office (Tuesday - Thursday), 8 hours/day
- 2 remote days (Monday and Friday), 5 hours/day
- Hours the week of CMA Fest (June 1-7) will be heavy and more than 8 hours/day (approximately 8am – 12am CT) and must be available on all days of CMA Fest (June 4-7)
