RESET is a fast-paced, high-level commercial production company specializing in premium advertising and branded content. Our team works on a wide range of projects for top-tier clients, and we are looking for a detail-oriented Production Accounting Assistant with commercial production experience to join our team.
Role Description
- Process weekly ACH & check payments to agencies, directors, post production houses, individuals, etc. through CAPS+
- Process international and domestic wires
- Review and approve staff and select freelance timecards
- Code production credit cards and ACH transactions
- Help audit wraps (primarily petty cash and POs) for commercial productions
- Onboard new vendors (collect W9's, W8BENs, ACH info, various tax documents) and manage vendor profiles
- Manage location checks
- Run weekly aging reports
- Act as a point of contact for any questions or concerns from freelance production managers and production coordinators
- Handle any additional accounting-related tasks as they arrive.
Qualifications
- Proficient with CAPS+ software
- Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Experience working at a commercial production company
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and adhere to deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be comfortable working full time in person in West LA
