Job Description
The purpose of this position is to spread the message of the restored Church of Jesus Christ around the world. This is accomplished in part through the creation thecreationofengaging,unifiedmessagingwithgreater reach and efficiency. Church messages are delivered via television, film, web, print, mobile, social media, and other delivery channels in multiple languages. We always seek new, improved, and more innovative ways to bring the world unto Christ. This is a mid-level position that assists project managers in identifying needed resources and processes for completingIP/contracts to complete projects within deadlines.
Responsibilities
Reviews and assesses complex intellectual property (IP), rights management, and content clearance issues associated with media projects Prepares IP reports, analyzes supporting documentation, and may review work completed by other Production Support Specialists (PSS). Provides recommendations, guidance, and alternative solutions to project owners and producers when content, rights, or clearance concerns may impact project timelines or deliverables. Collaborates closely with the Intellectual Property Office (IPO), Correlation Evaluation (CorEval), and other stakeholders to facilitate content clearance and support successful project outcomes.
Takes ownership of assigned areas of preparation and evaluation work, developing subject matter expertise in intellectual property review practices and becoming a trusted resource for project teams. A significant portion of the role may involve reviewing and evaluating international and foreign-language materials, requiring thoughtful analysis, sound judgment, and effective coordination with internal partners. Develops a strong understanding of Intellectual Property Office expectations and applies that knowledge to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency across projects.
Leverages technology, workflow systems, and emerging artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support evaluation, documentation, analysis, and process improvement efforts. Assists with the selection and execution of agreements with varying rights and terms and may coordinate or oversee the work of Intellectual Property Assistants or Production Support Specialists. While the role requires initiative, independent judgment, and ownership of assigned responsibilities, success is achieved through strong collaboration and partnership across the broader production support and intellectual property teams.

Required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience.
- An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience totaling at least six years may be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with others.
- Demonstrated initiative to achieve results and work collaboratively with team members to meet customer needs.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Flexibility in meeting committed schedules and project deadlines.
- Some legal/paralegal experience preferred.
