Amazon MGM Studios is hiring a Senior Scripted Executive with experience in both development and production. This executive will work within the Canadian Originals team and have the ability to identify material and talent and guide top-level writers and directors in the creation of outlines, scripts, cuts, and other material. Using your comprehensive knowledge of premium television talent, you will build on your previous industry relationships and develop new ones.

Key job responsibilities
• Convey Amazon MGM Studios Canadian Originals Scripted strategy among Canadian industry.
• Exercise creative and business judgement, especially in spotting the potential in ideas.
• Build and manage relationships with writers, directors, producers, production companies and artist representatives.
• Manage all creative aspects of development, pre-production, production, and post to final delivery.
• Liaise with other departments including Marketing, Publicity, Research, Digital, Social and Business and
Legal Affairs.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of executive level in development at a studio, network or production company experience
- 7+ years of creative executive experience
- 5+ years of series development experience
- Experience working with other departments such as casting, production, research, PR, business and legal affairs
- Experience overseeing all creative aspects of development production and post production
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the television and media industry
- Experience with a proven track record of storytelling by developing successful films or shows either as an independent consultant, in a studio or as part of a customer-facing media company

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
