Position Title: Intern
Reports to: Senior Director, Video and Motion Graphics
Position Summary: The Video and Motion Graphics intern will contribute to transforming raw video footage into high-quality video content used to inform, engage, and inspire their audience. They will work with audio and visual effects to create content and graphics for various projects.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assists in the editing of video content through Adobe Premiere alongside the Video and Motion Graphics team.
- Converts completed videos into various file formats to deliver to clients.
- Backs up video files to secured servers.
- Occasional local travel to video shooting locations and to show sites for live events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- High School or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of various video formats, compressions standards, aspect ratios, interlacing issues, frame rate and rate conversion.
- Experience with Adobe software including Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Creative Cloud.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Good organizational and communication skills with the ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or major in film and Video Production, or a related field.
- Experience in video editing and motion graphics animation.
Physical Demands (refer to Addendum):
- Ability to work in a physical environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
