Serena Williams is a professional tennis player as well as entrepreneur based near the Palm Beach, Florida area. She is the Founder & CEO of two business and entrepreneur.
We are currently looking for a videographer to join her team. The role will be an integral member of the team, responsible for creating content that supports a variety of business streams and is instrumental in evolving and enhancing Serena’s vision. This role will be responsible for creating content consisting of video and stills across all digital touch points where video and still assets may be needed. Candidates for this role must have the creative ability to convey compelling storytelling.
The ideal candidate is Florida based, and able to work from Serena’s office in West Palm Beach ~4/5 days a month (exact days pending creative needs by month).
Videographer Responsibilities:
- Work with the team(s) to create and coordinate content strategies and calendars & plan the shoots with the creative team(s)across all brands.
- Maintains brand guidelines throughout the creative process to ensure the specific brand vision is brought to life through all video + social seasonal content that is created
- Organize projects, estimate time, prioritize deadlines and build strong partnerships.
- Research and scout locations and obtain permissions to shoot on locations
- Create and follow outlines, script or shot list and assemble the footage into one cohesive video or film.
- Ensure that the necessary filming equipment is present and in working order
- Direct other camera operators on set, and editing film footage
- Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and working
- Edit footage in post-production.
Required Skills:
- BA in Video or equivalent
- Experience creating content on social media platforms
- 4+ years work experience in video production & editing
- Knowledge of all creative formats and files, color management and necessary equipment
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and all creative softwares
- Ability to see projects through from concept to execution
- Accustomed to work in an environment requiring flexibility and multitasking
- Ability to work in person with team 5-10 days a month in West Palm Beach, Florida
- Ability to travel
- Must be highly skilled in after-effects and/or video editing software
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Relative fitness and stamina to work long hours
- Skilled with cameras, video compression, asset management, motion graphics for titles and supers, logo animations, motion-tracked text, design and compositing
- Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and adding voice-overs, digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file
- Improving and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty footage
- Has the skill set to capture BTS/i-phone quality video and content
- Has ability to organize projects, estimate time, prioritize deadlines and build strong partnerships
