Job Description
Summary
The Creative Services Director is a hybrid role which interfaces with all departments, clients, and the community. In this role, you will serve as the local brand manager and community marketing representative to our audience. A solid knowledge of marketing, digital content production, strategies and best practices, the local market, and the stations’ key assets and programming are essential.
Essential Functions
· Responsible for overall station marketing strategy and execution
· Manage social media platforms including but not limited to creating and posting daily content, promotions, etc.
· Direct and oversee all phases of video production: writing, producing, directing, shooting, editing, motion graphics and post-production finishing for all marketing content including promos, ads, specials, digital content, etc.
· Hands-on creation of original graphics, animation and branding assets using advanced tools (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, XPression, Premier Pro, Audition, etc.)
· Act as a liaison between News and Sales integrations
· Responsible for community outreach and special projects
· Act as a community projects manager to coordinate Media Sponsorships and Events; generate station recap reports for those events/sponsorships
· Develop, maintain and execute quarterly promotional & event calendar with Sales and News
· Develop promotional opportunities for News and/or Sales
· Work closely with Sales Department on development and execution of revenue generating projects
· Work with our NBC Affiliate Team to understand and communicate the Network’s major programming and promotions priorities to our local staff and the community
· Develop relationships with various organizations, locations, events, and promoters to secure promotional giveaways
· Manage promotional on-air inventory including local and NBC Network promotion swaps and trade
· Various on-air/digital and production tasks as needed

Required Education and Experience
· Possesses a solid knowledge of the local market and the station format.
· Proficiency in Google suite of products.
· Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Premier Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition) and broadcast graphics system (XPression)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
