THE ROLE

We are seeking a passionate, fan-centric Engagement Specialist to join our growing team. This is the ultimate fan advocacy role: part community builder, part customer service, part social media voice. The ideal candidate thrives in the comment section, has a sharp sense of humor when the moment calls for it, and takes pride in helping fans feel seen, supported, and set up for success at our events.

This role will be central to shaping the online fan experience across social platforms, fan groups, and forums while also providing direct support through email, SMS, and on-site communication during shows. If you love live music, live in the comments, and know how to balance fun and wit with professionalism, this is the role for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Fan Group Community Engagement

Manage and grow official Facebook Groups across multiple brands.
Build relationships within fan communities, creating organic posts that energize and connect fans.
Proactively engage in fan-built groups and external platforms to ensure our brand narrative is represented and trusted.

Social Media Engagement

Monitor and respond to every comment across brand channels in a timely, intentional way.
Track and reply to organic fan posts where our events are tagged, even outside of our owned channels.
Infuse responses with personality, humor, and empathy while staying aligned with each brand’s voice.
Proactively connect fans to resources and next steps in their event journey.

Customer Support

Support fan experience team through email and SMS, answering questions and resolving concerns with clarity and care.
Collaborate with the Social Media and Customer Service teams to ensure consistent messaging and top-tier service.

On-Site + Remote Festival Support

Assist the Director of Fan Experience with real-time communication to attendees during events.
Monitor and escalate fan issues on-site, ensuring fans feel supported and heard.
Contribute to a smooth, connected fan experience from pre-event communication through post-event feedback.

WHAT YOU BRING

Required

1–3 years of marketing, customer engagement, social media, or live event experience (internships considered).
Passion for live music, festivals, and entertainment.
A true fan-first mindset, you get energy from connecting with people online and making them feel part of the community.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to switch seamlessly between witty, playful responses and professional, solution-oriented replies.
Attention to detail and high retention for event logistics and brand information.
Highly organized and comfortable working across multiple brands simultaneously.
Willingness to travel and work weekends during peak festival seasons.

Preferred

Experience with community management, social listening tools, or CRM systems.
Background in live event customer service or fan engagement.
