Job Description


The Opportunity:

The associate will manage the day-to-day programming, building, execution, reporting and optimization of American Girl of CRM channels deliveries and campaigns. They will be directly responsible for managing the monthly communication calendar and providing in-depth reporting and customer insights. The role will work cross functionally with partners in Marketing, Promotions, Loyalty, Creative, IT and Ecomm to ensure that campaigns align with all other marketing activities.

What Your Impact Will Be:

Planning & Executing 50%:

  • Own the planning and execution of all CRM channels, including email and SMS.
  • Plan and maintain cross-channel marketing calendar, executing against business needs and coordinating across internal teams.
  • Develop creative briefs and work with the in-house creative team (designer, copywriter) to develop new assets and copy
  • Coordinate and manage email creative deliverables with internal teams
  • Coordinate with eCom team to drive effective link strategies, delivering positive and converting UX/CX from CRM channels.
  • Daily QA testing– review link tagging and accuracy of click thru site page

Optimization 30%

  • Develop and execute audience segmentation strategies to drive positive customer journey, engagement, and incremental purchase decisions
  • Develop, execute, and optimize automated customer journey campaigns, including trigger CRM strategies.
  • Develop enrollment strategies for new customer acquisition into CRM channels.
  • Manage and optimize customer list hygiene

Reporting 20%

  • With support from Manager, you will analyze, report, and optimize on campaign performance, including consumer behavior, engagement, revenue attribution, CRO, ROI and retention

Qualifications


What We’re Looking For:

Education & Experience:

  • 4+ years working in CRM role, including experience with ESP platform, Klaviyo, preferred but not required.
  • Experience building CRM plans/calendars incorporating business priorities and performance learnings
  • Experience working with creative teams to effectively communicate CRM channel needs and strategies.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong and confident communication skills, comfortable with presenting and engaging with cross-functional team members
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and copywriting skills preferred.
  • Tech savvy and able to quickly learn new platforms and tools
  • Ability to be nimble, eagerness to learn and comfortable in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, pivoting priorities based on business demands
  • Understanding of user journeys, segmentation, and personalization a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML and/or SQL a plus
  • Ability and flexibility to work early mornings or late evenings to support business needs

The annual base salary range for this position is between $82,000 and $103,000.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
