Position Title: Event Assistant (part-time)

Event Assistant at the Rose Bowl Stadium will work directly under the supervision of the
Event Manager(s), and Event Coordinator(s) to support the execution of both enterprise
events (filming, private events, runs and walks, festivals, and offsite parking) and major
events (concerts, international soccer, NCAA football, and music festivals).
General Description and Training:
  • Provide a high level of service to clients and event patrons.
  • Maintain and update various event databases and calendars.
  • Conduct pre-event and post event walk-throughs to assure set-up, cleanliness, and
safety of the facilities.
  • Assist Event Managers with event operations including the preparation of event
documents, accreditation, and on-site management of vendors and clients.
Qualifications:
  • Ideal candidate will have an interest in the sports/entertainment industry with a
background in business, facility operations, and hospitality.
  • Must be able to work up to 20 hours a week.
  • Candidate should be self-motivated, organized, professional, and detail oriented.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work long days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, if necessary.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Office 365.
  • Knowledge of CAD, Adobe Design, and Venue Ops are preferred.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Material and equipment used:
  • Golf/utility cart
  • Two-way radios
Working conditions
  • Frequent – weekend work schedule, extended hours and/or overtime, work outside,
contact with the general public.
  • Occasional – standing, sitting, walking, lifting (25-40 lbs.), pushing/pulling, climbing,
bending, squatting, reaching, exposure to noise, temperature variation.
Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
