Nextant is looking for our next Graphic Designer 4 to join our client team. The main function of a Graphic Designer is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical graphic designer needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communication problems
  • Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design
  • Prepare sketches or layouts to present to client
  • Create charts and graphs from data given

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required. Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferred
  • 8-10 years’ experience required
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in graphic design field.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience with proficiency in adobe tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Designer
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving ability
  • Basic ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic and film
  • Basic ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design
  • Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images
  • Experience with Adobe publishing and graphics software
  • Disqualifier: Candidates with no graphic design experience will not be eligible for the role.
  • Best vs Average: The ideal candidate would have a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. The candidate should be energized and motivated to execute the vision and deliver
    high-quality work on time.

Estimate start date: 6/1/2025
Estimate end date: 6/30/2026



This is a fully remote position. Candidates located in PST are strongly preferred, and those in CST are also preferred. All candidates must be available to work PST hours. No overtime is expected. The role will likely follow PST hours, and the team is flexible with workdays and hours once the employee is fully ramped up.



Pay Rate:

The annual salary range for this position is $84,000 - $92,000 in Washington State. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline. Nextant considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, and other market and business considerations when extending an offer.
