THE ROLE:

We are seeking a strategic and creative Director of Integrated Marketing to drive all brand awareness and consumer engagement efforts for the Hartbeat brand. You will play a key role in executing brand strategy with multi-channel integrated marketing programs to ultimately drive brand awareness and strengthen our positioning in the marketplace. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic, operational, and executional, and is a creative thinker who exercises exceptional communication, planning, and management skills to execute plans across multiple teams, projects, and projects effectively. You will report into the EVP, Head of Marketing & Brand Strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content & Experiences Marketing

  • Responsible for leading and launching high impact Hartbeat original content and experiences - this includes responsibility across the entire marketing campaign strategy inclusive of creative direction as well as owned/earned/paid promotion
  • Build successful and collaborative cross-functional relationships that build strategic and impactful partnership across marketing, PR, creative, programming, paid, legal and relevant teams.
  • Proactively partner with studios team and relevant partners (Netflix, NBCU, SiriusXM, etc.) on the most successful roll-out of Hartbeat campaigns across a number of partners
  • For Hartbeat originals (audio, TV, Film, live events), work with distribution partners to develop series positioning, campaign strategy and agency creative briefs. Consolidate key information into on-brand, visually appealing decks and presentations; provide notes and feedback throughout the creative review process.
  • Develop cross-platform content marketing campaigns that optimize the marketing mix based on the title and target audience – to maximize awareness, engagement and ultimately, tune-in.
  • Partner with Live events team to maximize market position and drive attendance for Hartbeat consumer-facing events including but not limited to Hartbeat Weekend.

Brand Marketing

  • Support Head of Marketing in defining and refining Hartbeat’s family of brands, ensuring our brand values, voice and truth are communicated at every touch point.
  • Create and enforce standards of creative and cultural excellence for the brand – differentiating the company in the marketplace and maximizing awareness, engagement with our audiences (consumers, advertisers, partners and creators).

Digital Marketing

  • Oversee Hartbeat’s brand presence across digital platforms - identifying, competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counterstrategies Inspire new thinking and energize teams to think beyond their division to combine the full power of the Hartbeat brand

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 8-10 years of Marketing experience with proven experience and deep passion for growing audiences
  • An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members, external partners, and senior management
  • Creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to apply ideas strategically while working to a set budget and timeline
  • Demonstrated experience building audience development, paid marketing experience and/or marketing plans for digital platforms
  • Self motivated and proactive; continuously looking to bring new opportunities and ideas to the table
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a cross-functional and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment on multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide action-oriented insights
  • Knowledge of and interest in the world of comedy and culture

COMPENSATION

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and work location. In addition to the base salary, the compensation package for this role also includes a discretionary bonus, based on individual and company performance.

Compensation Range: $140K - $180K
