We're seeking a creative Marketing Designer to join our Creative/Brand Strategy team! The Marketing Designer will report into the Director of Creative/Brand Strategy and play an important role in concepting, designing and developing sales & digital marketing materials & proposal decks. You'll become an expert in translating GMG’s brand identity into inspiring creative assets and presentations.

Responsibilities:

Design visually-compelling presentations with a refined aesthetic for branded campaigns, pitch decks & tentpole packages.
Co-create a wide range of digital creative assets, such as web/social mocks, branded series logos & event invitations.
Update proposal & post-campaign templates for internal and external use.
Ensure our branding and design standards are maintained across all internal and external materials.
Work cross-functionally with our in-house design team to learn & assist in creating innovative and timely assets for both editorial and brand campaigns.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2-4 years of digital design experience, ideally in developing marketing materials
Strong sense of visual design, including typography, layout, balance, hierarchy, proportion, color, emphasis and consistency
Fluency with presentation softwares, such as Google Slides, Keynote, Powerpoint
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
A creative problem solver and strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
A consumer of current events, social media, and pop culture
Excellent communication skills. Comfortable sharing rationale behind design-based decisions
Willingness to collaborate with other designers and creative/brand strategists
