The annual base salary for this position ranges from $133,700.00 in our lowest geographic market to $318,300.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As the Marketing Director - West (LA), you will build a Long-term strategic outlook for the brand across the West with a huge focus on Los Angeles & will also lead short term / seasonal strategic plans through to execution. You are responsible for working across integrated marketing functions, categories, and will partner with external agencies to develop and implement plans for Jordan Brand. Your job is to make sure the consumer's voice is being heard and you will become a consumer expert. You'll be the lead, informer, and communicator on all details, decision-making, and progress on key assigned initiatives.
You will lead through connecting to basketball culture, by creating a deep connection with the Fearless One's through digital & physical activations, social and outbound messaging, and lead a city specific approach to membership, events, grassroots sports, purpose & community programs.
Additionally, you will oversee the annual budget to ensure accuracy and discipline in monthly and quarterly budget management process. You set the vision and inspire the team to go after one unified goal.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will work across the Nike / Jordan Matrix, be in partnership with the NIKE Los Angeles team, other territory leaders and will work closely with our North America Brand Team, Digital Marketing, Retail Marketing, Communications, Sports Marketing, and Influencer Marketing.

Qualifications Requirements for the position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, communications or related field or a proven track record within the sporting goods / retail industry
- 7+ years of consumer marketing or related experiences in marketing strategy, marketing planning, marketing implementation, digital marketing, consumer servicing, and event execution
- Deep passion for the consumer, existing Brand relationships within a key city, and a background with a high level of effective traditional communication and digital communication
- 5+ years' employee or team management experience, with a proven record of people development
- In-depth knowledge of the North America Marketplace, with a focus on Los Angeles.
- Understand the competitive market, customers and retail trends
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations
- Demonstrate management capability, including ability to motivate and mentor others within a work group
- Proven ability to lead initiatives and project teams
- Capable of driving timelines and managing budgets
- Ability to balance creativity with organization in fast moving, ambiguous environment
- Passion and/or expertise for the Jordan Brand is preferred
- Strong understanding of a matrix organization
- Strong understanding of Jordan Brand product lines is preferred
- Background in building digital and physical experiences is highly preferred
- Results driven, pro-active self starter, organized and focused
