Who are we hiring?
To develop techniques, workflows with stable software and hardware setups for the conforming, color grading and exporting of show ready content for venues, all together described as "finishing".
To ensure clients and creative leads have a space and tools to review and direct their vision to finishing Artists and Operators.
To develop and maintain systems that ensure image quality is the highest possible and workflows are highly efficient for finishing Artists and Operators.
What will you do?
- Ensure technical synchronicity between editorial offline, online conform and audio and playback programming.
- Establish technical approach, work with Studio Tech and Studio Operations department members providing software and hardware setups to ensure a stable working environment and highly efficient workflows.
- Work closely with the Sr. Director of Studio Operations, Sr. Director of Core Technology, Sr. Director of Studio Technology and other Departmental Supervisors and Production Management to optimize artists handling of media.
- Optimize media for most efficient reading, writing and storing images.
- Optimize set and workflow for remote control and monitoring of finishing systems.
- Assist in creating requirements, product descriptions, and documentation for pipeline tools, workflows, protocols and specifications for working and monitoring finishing systems.
What do you need to succeed?
- Deep understanding of high-end postproduction and VFX processes and pipeline.
- Expert knowledge of creative software such as Base light, Nuke, Resolve, Scratch.
- Understanding of color sciences and transforms, lens mapping and spherical co-ordinate spaces.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take criticism, and work under high pressure with tight deadlines while maintaining team cohesion.
