Overview:
We're seeking a decisive, results-driven leader to take charge of our content strategy and streaming operations. This role demands expertise in managing FAST channels, content syndication, licensing, and strategic distribution. You'll also be responsible for driving advertising revenue through the management of sponsorships, commercials, and ad placements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Acquisition:
    • Develop and implement strategic plans for content curation, acquisition, production, and licensing.
    • Manage FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) channels, including programming, scheduling, and optimizing program times to maximize audience engagement.
    • Build and expand a robust content syndication and licensing business for shows and movies.
  • Streaming Operations Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of streaming operations to ensure a reliable, high-quality service.
    • Collaborate with engineering and technology teams to optimize streaming infrastructure and swiftly address performance issues.
  • Partnership & Distribution Management:
    • Manage distribution agreements and establish strategic partnerships with other networks to expand content reach.
    • Negotiate and maintain relationships with content providers, studios, and strategic partners.
    • Oversee joint ventures, co-production arrangements, and co-marketing initiatives with external networks.
  • Advertising & Sponsorship Management:
    • Develop and execute strategies for managing sponsorships, commercials, and ad placements across our platforms.
    • Work closely with internal sales and marketing teams to optimize ad performance and drive revenue growth.
    • Negotiate advertising contracts and manage relationships with key advertising partners, ensuring seamless integration of ad content within our FAST channels and streaming services.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Lead and mentor a diverse team of content, licensing, and operations professionals.
    • Collaborate with marketing, product, and business development teams to align strategies and ensure effective execution.
  • Budget & Performance Oversight:
    • Manage operational budgets and optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI.
    • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies as needed to meet targets.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in content management, streaming operations, or a related field within the media/entertainment industry.
  • Proven expertise in managing FAST channels, content syndication, licensing, and advertising operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Deep understanding of content licensing, production processes, and streaming technologies.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and financial management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a no-nonsense approach to delivering results.

Salary

$90,000 - $150,000 per year
