Account Director - Brand & Strategy is a unique position leading Camron’s global Branding, Brand Strategy, and Content clients from an account perspective. The successful candidate will have excellent client management skills, combined with a keen understanding of branding and strategy, and an ability to write compelling presentations, pitches, and project plans. The candidate should also have experience in some or all of the following sectors (or adjacent sectors): Luxury | Hospitality | Architecture | Design | Culture
This role offers real breadth; working with leading luxury hospitality groups on brand campaigns, boutique scale-ups on growth plans, global architects on brand strategy and premium consumer brands on integrated creative output and social media. A mixture of local and global. B2C and B2B.
The Account Director will report directly into Camron’s Global Head of Strategy based in London, working closely with the team of strategists, content creators, designers and specialists. Meanwhile, the candidate will work closely and collaboratively with the comms team in the New York Office. The role will come with autonomy on running accounts and managing projects end-to-end, whilst benefiting from senior support to grow and develop.
There are set, retained clients and projects to be working on - some independently in NYC, some globally with London - but the right candidate will also be helping to grow our brand and strategy offering in North America through pitching and new business efforts. As such, an entrepreneurial mindset is key to success, combined with an attitude of “no task too small or too big”.
As part of the new business effort, you will be supporting on large scale global pitches and running smaller ones of your own with the comms team in NYC, too.
Responsibilities:
- Leading Branding and Brand Strategy/Content focused accounts
- Project Managing Brand Strategy and Content projects
- Supporting client research projects: from qualitative In Depth Interviews to quantitative surveys, desk research and audits.
- Developing messaging and structures for global brands
- Running client workshops in collaboration with other team members
- Working with external studios, CDs and designers to deliver new Visual Identities and Brand Campaigns
- Supporting on U.S. based New Business pitches; writing pitch decks and presenting to clients
- Supporting the global team on high-profile, large-scale pitches
- Upskilling and supporting other members of the team
Experience & Skills:
- 6+ years experience; already honing the craft of client management and strategy, whilst learning more of the leadership and commercial aspects of agency directorship
- Integrated Agency Experience
- Confident, capable and trained in Branding / Strategy
- A strong presenter; able to tell stories through presentations and engage a room of clients
- Great at moderating and engaging a workshop
- Adept in research and insight mining, leading to greater, more impactful work
- Competent in demonstrating effectiveness
- Strong Project Management skills; naturally organized.
- Ideal: Luxury and/or Premium Brand experience (even better if in the design space).
- Ideal: A mixture of B2B and B2C experience.

Salary Band:
$95,000 - $110,000
