We’re currently expanding our marketing team to amplify our reach across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and beyond.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to lead digital content strategy and social media execution for our vertical short drama productions. This role requires strong experience managing social platforms (especially TikTok and Instagram), the ability to think creatively, and excellent cross-functional communication skills. You will also manage and mentor a junior marketing team member.
While the role is primarily remote, occasional on-site attendance in Los Angeles will be required for content shoots, behind-the-scenes coverage, and team sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for short drama projects across social platforms, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram
- Manage and grow multiple branded content accounts, tailoring strategies by channel
- Lead and manage day-to-day content calendars, posting, community engagement, and performance tracking
- Collaborate closely with production, content, and operations teams to align marketing with campaign and release schedules
- Attend select on-site shoots to capture or coordinate behind-the-scenes content
- Work with influencers, creators, or UGC campaigns to drive traffic and awareness
- Manage and support an entry-level marketing employee, providing mentorship and feedback
- Analyze platform insights and data to continually refine content strategy and improve KPIs (views, engagement, followers, conversions)
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing or social media management, preferably in entertainment, media, or creator-driven content
- Proven experience managing TikTok and Instagram content strategy with tangible growth results
- Experience with multi-channel content strategy is a strong plus
- Strong communication and project coordination skills; able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Highly self-motivated and organized; able to operate independently and take ownership
- Comfortable working in a remote-first setting with flexible structure
- Able to attend occasional on-site shoots and meetings in the Los Angeles area
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is a plus
