Job Description

At Apple, we focus deeply on our customers’ experience. Apple Ads brings this same approach to advertising, helping people find exactly what they’re looking for and helping advertisers grow their businesses. Our technology powers ads and sponsorships across Apple Services, including the App Store, Apple News, and MLS Season Pass. Everything we do is designed for trust, connection, and impact: We respect user privacy, integrate advertising thoughtfully into the experience, and deliver value for advertisers of all sizes-from small app developers to big, global brands. Because when advertising is done right, it benefits everyone. The Apple Ads creative team activates on all advertising and marketing efforts to ensure the creative development and implementation of world-class communications. As a Senior Designer on this team, you’ll conceptualize content and messaging across digital platforms - with a focus on brand design systems, product launches, customer engagement, and events - under the limited direction of an Associate Creative Director. This position requires a proven record in interactivedesign, particularly for the marketing of major global brands; a strong knowledge of creative development tools and processes; and experience developing creative solutions with a relatively high level of autonomy.

Description

In this role, you're responsible for the successful conception and execution of visual creative direction, delivering comprehensive design solutions for interactive projects from initial concept through to final implementation. You develop innovative, strategically aligned designs and experiences that meet the objectives of each assignment. This Senior Designer collaborates closely with the broader marketing team-including writers, art directors, UX designers, developers, and product and platform leads-to conceptually solve problems and ensure cohesive execution. You are able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, fostering trust and alignment with creative peers and marketing stakeholders. The Senior Designer routinely engages with senior creative leadership to review work, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with broader team initiatives. You are someone that confidently presents the work, articulating design rationale with clarity and persuasive insight.

Minimum Qualifications
  • You have at least 8 to 10 years of agency or in-house experience specializing in interactive marketing communications.
  • You have a diverse portfolio of daring, ground-breaking work that is consummate in its craft.
  • You have numerous outlets for which to express your designs and concepts - hand sketches, wireframing, digital comps, animated and interactive prototyping.
  • You are a natural collaborator and mentor who thrives in a group environment and knows how to bring out the best in the team - design, copy, ux, and development.
  • You set a blistering design pace on every project; exhibiting a vision for the work, minding the details, and solving business problems in a deep and meaningful way.

Preferred Qualifications
  • You can think within a brand system and mindfully navigate a user’s journey while designing bespoke design experiences.
  • Skilled with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch. Experience working with motion is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of web production and content management systems.
  • Experience managing the work of interactive designers, and art directing photographers, illustrators, and film editors.
  • BA or BFA in Graphic Design or other related design discipline.
