The Role
CAA Evolution is seeking an Assistant to support an Executive in our Investment Banking division. CAA Evolution stands as a trusted advisor and capital markets partner, offering a comprehensive suite of advisory solutions to our clients. Our deep understanding of industry trends, M&A, corporate strategy, and capital markets empowers us to deliver focused and impartial advice across the strategy spectrum, including: sell-side and buy-side advisory and execution, capital raising, capital structure analyses, IPO / SPAC advisory, corporate restructuring, capital allocation strategies, strategic advisory, and more.
This position will provide executive level administrative support for the Executive, as well as provide support for additional staff. The Assistant plays a critical role within the team, and requires a highly organized individual with strong interpersonal skills and exceptional attention to detail. This role will also support the overall team needs.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support, including heavy phones, coordinating meetings, schedules and travel, preparing expense reports, and producing correspondence
  • Serve as first point of contact with buyers, clients, internal leadership and top executives across multiple industries
  • Assist in creating decks for internal and external facing presentations
  • Track large sums of confidential data
  • Assist with special projects, research, and compiling information as needed
  • Support in the overall needs of the department
Qualifications
  • BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred
  • Previous education or training in finance
  • Familiarity or experience working in the financial sector
  • At least 1 year of administrative experience with responsibilities including expenses, calendar management, phone calls, email correspondence and more
  • Knowledge of and passion for project management, finance, business operations, policy & processes
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential to the success of this role
  • Highly flexible, able to meet strict deadlines, and multi-task
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Advanced skills are a plus
  • Collaborative and able to work in a demanding environment
  • Creative and analytical thinker who has a pulse on tech, digital & industry trends

Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $20.00-22.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
