Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our growing team in LA. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building and maintaining strong client relationships and has a passion for localization.
Account Management sits at the heart of what we do, ensuring that our clients are receiving the best possible service, by creating long-term partnerships and being the point of contact between them and our internal teams.
In this role, you would be responsible for identifying our clients’ needs and promoting VSI services, ensuring revenue growth in alignment with our company’s objectives and strategy. Some of your responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities
§ Develop and maintain strong client relationships by regularly engaging with them, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.
§ Proactively promote and upsell VSI’s services and act as the main point of escalation for client-related enquiries, maintaining a high level of service.
§ Work closely with your team to create accurate sales projections and forecast revenue.
§ Maintain ownership of client contracts, MSAs and SOWs and oversee responses to client information requests and surveys.
§ Work with our internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
§ Source and negotiate rates with suppliers as required.
§ Ensure the ongoing improvement of our services by devising strategies and providing feedback on vendor quality.
§ Ensure that key account metrics are recorded and shared with the relevant VSI teams.
§ Provide regular updates to management on account performance and growth opportunities.
§ Support our internal teams with technical expertise and key insights for new business opportunities.
§ Provide strategic guidance in order to maintain VSI’s competitive positioning, by staying informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
Essential Skills and Experience
§ Proven experience in managing client relationships and a strong understanding of the localization industry.
§ Exceptional client engagement skills, demonstrating professionalism, responsiveness, and a solutions-oriented approach.
§ Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data presentation and reporting.
§ Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
§ Self-motivated and proactive, with a strategic approach to client management and problem-solving.
§ Solid knowledge of business and financial metrics, leveraging key performance indicators to drive success.
§ Ability to navigate change effectively and adapt to different situations.
§ Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of P&L, profitability, and revenue growth strategies.
§ Skilled negotiator, adept at assessing complex situations and identifying the most effective path forward.
