Associate Manager, Music Content - W2 ONLY


You will support our clients music content teams by managing and coordinating internal cross-functional projects, with a specific focus on tracking licensing and

publishing clearances, external partner communication and troubleshooting. This includes managing content release schedules, project databases, and processes in collaboration with Music Partnerships,

Licensing, Go-To-Market, Commercial Partnerships, Content Ops, and the Rights and Clearances team, acting as the central point of contact between Music Content and internal departments and external

partners to achieve successful content availability.


Were looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented team member with experience in content operations, partner support, or rights management-ideally within the music, technology or entertainment industries.

You're proactive, comfortable managing multiple tasks at once, and confident using collaboration and artificial intelligence tools to contribute to a fast-moving team environment.


What You'll Do

  • Serve as a key operational support partner for the Music Content team, managing tracking tools, meeting logistics, and content availability workflows.

  • Draft and deliver written communications to external partners around content availability, upcoming releases, and metadata requirements.

  • Track and triage inbound content questions from partners and internal stakeholders, routing to appropriate team members or escalating as needed.

  • Maintain and update trackers that reflect content rights, metadata status, and delivery timelines to ensure up-to-date visibility across teams.

  • Review partner-provided metadata and escalate issues to team and cross-functional leads.

  • Coordinate recurring internal and partner syncs, including scheduling, agendas, note-taking, and follow-ups.

  • Monitor and report on content ingestion, availability status, and publishing information to inform timelines and troubleshoot availability.

  • Draft and maintain operational documentation including FAQs, escalation paths, and partner-facing reference materials.

  • Support the team in assembling reports and summaries that highlight key trends, blockers, and feedback.

  • Assist in Rights & Clearance processes by updating licensing trackers, and drafting partner outreach materials.

  • Contribute to teamwide process improvements by offering ideas to streamline workflows, clarify documentation, and scale operational capacity.

  • Leverage AI tools and other technology platforms to support content tracking, reporting, and operational documentation.


Who You Are

  • You have 2+ years of experience in content operations, project coordination, partner support, or rights management-ideally within the music, technology, or entertainment industries.

  • You're a passionate music fan with a broad knowledge of artists, genres, and cultural trends across global music communities.

  • You're detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing tracking systems, schedules, and multi-stakeholder processes.

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can clearly convey operational updates and partner-facing messaging.

  • You have a working understanding of licensing and publishing dynamics, and youre eager to grow your knowledge of rights management tools, workflows and how they intersect with product development.

  • You are adaptable and responsive, thriving in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and new challenges.

  • You bring a solutions-oriented mindset and take initiative to solve problems, flag blockers, and support cross-functional alignment.

  • You are confident navigating collaboration tools and workflows, and you use technology-including AI platforms-to improve how you work.

  • You enjoy supporting teams, ensuring information is clear, systems run smoothly, and timelines are met.

  • You are open to feedback, eager to learn, and bring clarity and accountability to your interactions with internal teams and external partners.

  • You are based in New York City or Los Angeles and available to work from the office three times per week.

  • You are open to occasional evening availability, particularly around high-priority release moments such as Thursday US Store turn.
