Job Description
Staffing agency seeking a temporary Production Accounting Coordinator for their client, a top entertainment company in Los Angeles. This is an in-person role. Only candidates local to Los Angeles area will be considered. All candidates must have previous accounting experience.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Track and process client checks, send to accounting for review / filing
-Process payment collections
-Accounting, projects, preparing reports, copying, filing, scanning, etc.
-Provide Administrative support to the accounting dept
-Data entry, print weekly reports, track timecards, review and corrections
-Answer incoming calls and compose emails
-Work with Agents and clients
-Send notices
-Collect clients employment paperwork and other documents as needed
-Other duties and special projects as needed
Requirements and skills:
-Bachelor's degree (accounting, finance, math, business preferred)
-Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience doing accounting (accounting internships considered)
-Knowledge of below the line and production accounting is A+
-Excellent computer skills, MS Office, Outlook, especially with strong Microsoft Excel skills
-Highly organized, strong attention to detail and effective follow through
-An ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing, tracking and entering information
-Payroll
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Effective problem solver
-Detail oriented, accurate, and must have strong math skills
-Excellent references
This is a temp opportunity.
Salary: $20.00 to $21.00 / hour DOE as a Temp
