Summary/objective:

Angel Studios is seeking an experienced Product Manager to help build products that enable the consumer to enjoy content that amplifies light. In this role, you will work closely with our Chief Content Officer and the Marketing team to build ticket funnels specific to a theatrical release. When releasing movies in theaters, box-office success is largely dependent on how many screens our sales team is able to secure for opening weekend. And the number of screens we get relies heavily on how many tickets we pre-sale. As such, helping to create momentum behind a movie well before the release date is critical. That effort will be the primary focus of this role. You will build engaging experiences that get fans excited about an upcoming movie.

Essential Functions

  • Balance your strong instinct with a culture of hypothesis testing, measurement, and velocity to learn and improve products you own
  • Lead multiple teams on product management development and execution
  • Connect deeply with users and their needs and express them in products that enhance their lives and fulfill their needs that align with product goal
  • Brainstorm with our users, fellow engineers, product designers, and stakeholders, to understand what they want, figure out what they really need, and finally, what we should build
  • Drive the overall success of the product from brainstorming to final execution and maintenance
  • Specifying and oversee the research needed to determine the needs and desires of customers
  • Help oversee the design, structure, implementation, and planning of how to market and promote the product to the public
  • Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the English language required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
