Prep work remote with location-based shoots – could lead to a full-time staffed position in NC which would require relocation.

• Candidate should have experience working closely with Senior Producers and Production Management to conceptualize and execute a creative vision, find creative solutions/problem solve on the fly, think outside the box and be willing/able to pivot creatively when needed.
• Must love the creative process and be able to assemble industry standard documents including story concepts/outlines, shot lists, beat sheets, hot sheets, and field notes.

Specific duties to include:

• Draft story outline & beat sheet based on notes/input from senior production staff (supervising producer, head of production and on-screen talents).
• Work with the senior production staff during prep and filming.
• Develop, track, and adjust creative beats in real time with the help of the senior production staff and on-camera talent.
• Support and direct the experienced on-camera talent, including keeping their deliveries on track and covering them based on the beat sheet and shot list.
• Ensure the talent stays focused and has everything they need for the day’s shot list.
• Maintain producer notes and make notations based on ad-lib / ad-hoc moments (there may be an AP provided on more complicated shoots to help keep these notes.)
• When needed, review dailies with the supervising producer.
• Collaborate with the logistics/scheduling aspects of the shoot, which may be modified over the course of the production.
• Work within the confines of the schedule to keep everything on track.
• Ensure the field notes, sheets and other relevant materials are conveyed to the post-production department with the assistance of the senior production staff.
• Having a deep knowledge of female-driven content and talent in the new media / YouTube space is a plus.
